1 out of 5 stars What you see is NOT what you get.   July 23, 2010

This product DOES NOT come with the comb and brush attachment as decribed. I paid for shipping on an item I literally could have bought across the street at Target.

5 out of 5 stars BEST STRAIGHTENER EVER!   July 7, 2010

OMG! this item is probably the best thing you could ever get! i have super wavy and thick hair, and with one stroke, my hair was flat, shiny, and smooth! it heats up within a minute which is awesome in cause you're in a hurry...i'm just speechless...if you want a straightener, GET THIS ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

4 out of 5 stars Good Straightener   July 4, 2010

I bought this flat iron from Fred's for around twenty bucks. It came with a little comb that you insert on the side of the plate, which I LOOOOVED. Not sure if this one comes with a comb or not. Either way, its a great straightener for the price. It glides smoothly over your hair and gets it very straight. I think it works as well as any other straightener. I don't know why anyone would complain. It's very cheap and does a GREAT job. As of now I'm using the Remington Wet-to-Straight flat iron. It's also a great straightener for a cheap price.

3 out of 5 stars meh.. decent.   May 18, 2010

This straightener will get the job done, but I would not purchase another one.

I have used a Sedu for about 3 years until it finally kicked the bucket. I was low on cash so I thought I'd try something not as expensive, especially considering the great reviews. This thing is large, bulky, and pulls my hair if I'm not very careful. The end result leaves my hair looking a bit like straw, whereas my older expensive straightener always left my hair looking (and feeling) silky.

Save for something better, it's worth the extra money.

2 out of 5 stars not so good   May 11, 2010

Purchased for my wife to use on a trip. She won't use it. The squeeze handles are flexible and don't allow her to put enough pressure on her hair, they just bend instead. Found a Revlon dual voltage from another supplier that works great.
