Amazon.com Product Description
The Casio Men's Solar Atomic Resin Strap Watch #WVM120J-1 combines the classic styling of a dive watch with a sporty, full-featured digital interface. Versatile and reliable, this timepiece never needs resetting or batteries thanks to Casio's Solar Power and Atomic Timekeeping technology. With its classic dive style design (which includes features like a rugged black resin band with a traditional buckle clasp and a round dial), this handsome timepiece is ready for a day at the office or inspection by the ship's divemaster. The watch's reliable quartz movement is solar powered--which accurately keeps time up to eight months without further exposure to light. And if you're in the US, UK, Germany, or Japan, the watch receives time calibration radio signals (up to six times per day), so you always know your watch is set to the right time. Other technical features include three daily alarms, an LED light with Afterglow technology, a world clock with 29 time zones, four daily alarms , a 1/100 second stopwatch that records split time, a calendar (pre-programmed until the year 2099), 12- and 24-hour formats, and water resistance to 330 feet (100 meters).

5 out of 5 stars What a great buy!   July 28, 2010
John Keating
All this technology for under $30.00 is amazing. The solar power snd atomic time reception are what interested me in this purchase. Casio has always put out quality products. I keep remembering John Candy trying to get a room in the film Trains, Planes, and Automobiles, "It's a Casio!" Sorry, back to the review. The watch is quality. water resist down to 330 feet, accurate time (as accurate as possible), quality band, never need to replace the battery (I absolutely hate trying to take the back off of a watch to change a battery), it's handsome in a everday way - meaning it looks nice casually and yet you could wear it with a sport coat and tie and it'd still be alright.

I really don't see a downside here. Sure you could spend a lot more money, but I don't think you'd be buying a "better" time piece. This watch offers so much for so little. I am very happy with my purchase! If a quality time piece by a company that has a track record for products that deliver the goods is important to you and you don't want to take out a second mortgage to afford it, this is the watch to buy.

Eat your heart out John Cameron Swayzee!

5 out of 5 stars Great Watch   July 26, 2010

This is the best watch I ever had. It has everything I wanted in a watch. I works perfectly and has an extremely low price too.

4 out of 5 stars Cool watch but......   July 24, 2010

I really like the watch and being Atomic and Solar is big on the Cool factor but my one complaint is that you can't hear the alarms. Really what good is having five alarms if you can't hear them. The price is killer!

5 out of 5 stars Casio WVM120j-1   July 22, 2010

Bought this watch from Amazon in June as a 'bang- around' time piece. Works great. Even though I am 2000 miles from Colorado Springs, the watch receives the midnight signal if I place it on a window sill as described in the booklet. Checked the time against the world time web site after one month. It is dead nuts on to the second. Haven't been able to get the solar charge above medium, but it doesn't drop so I stopped trying. Neat how the watch goes into a sleep mode in the dark to save the battery. For $30, this is a great deal!

4 out of 5 stars Solar and Atomic   July 15, 2010

At first I preferred an analog-digital watch, but the advantage that a solar watch offers swayed me, along with the price.

I only wish that the watch came with a regular band, as the resin band is difficult to match.

The last watch I had was a Casio waveceptor, which lasted four years befor the pins to fit the band wore out in the casing. It is still running strong as my spare pocket watch.

All in all this was the best choice for a good quality chronograph watch.
